We’re not the sort of church to keep ourselves to ourselves.
We love our community. We want to be a blessing to the
people who call Maidenhead home. We want them to experience
the love of God in tangible, relevant, life-changing ways.

SPIRITUAL FORMATION

We are all being continuously shaped and formed, every hour of every day. At River, we choose to walk alongside Jesus, our teacher, and allow his character to increasingly permeate us.

“We are watered by the Spirit to grow more like Jesus, such that we can’t help but bring life where we live”.

SUNDAYS AT RIVER

We gather for our Sunday service at 10:00am at Altwood School to worship God, learn from Scripture and to leave a little closer to Jesus than we were when we arrived.

We believe that being church is about much more than just attending Sunday services: first and foremost it’s about our own relationship with Jesus every day. God longs to have an ongoing close personal relationship with each one of us that is full of life, hope, peace and love… and which is constantly growing and deepening. Jesus said that He came to give us abundant life!
