Clearly Stephen’s sermon in had an impact on Saul. He makes it his life mission to seek out more people like Stephen and to kill them, but it seems to linger in his mind (Acts 22). Clearly something about Stephen’s death touched Saul. We then see thegreat conversion story. Saul, the man who most firmly stood against the followers of Jesus joins them and then goes on to be the single biggest promoter of Jesus in all history.
