LIFE IN THE
KINGDOM

In this series we’re looking at what it means for us to live as citizens of Jesus’ Kingdom. Each week we’re going to take a different area of our lives and explore how it should look if we’re living like heaven is near.

If you are born in another country and move to the United Kingdom you can choose to take a test and become a British citizen. This test is called ‘Life in the UK’. It’s all about what the UK really is, our history, culture and most importantly, what it actually means to be British.

As Christians, we’re dual citizens. We’re citizens of the UK and we’re citizens of God’s Kingdom. Thankfully there’s no exam needed for entrance, but it is important we understand what God’s Kingdom is and what it means for us to be its citizens.

Over the term, we’re going to delve into just that through the Sermon on the Mount. In it, Jesus explains what His kingdom is like, how its citizens behave and we get a glimpse of a radically different way of living.

Each talk will focus on one topic. We want this series to be as practical as possible – our goal is for people to make real changes to the way they live their lives.
