Series Overview

Just like the author in our new series, John probably told much loved stories about his best friend Jesus over and over again

As our series title suggests there are two main themes that bring all of this together and these run straight out of John’s Gospel (words common on the lips of Jesus himself) and John weaves them intricately through these letters… those are Light and Love.John’s passion was that his readers (and we are included in on this) are persuaded to stay true to what we believe.

In these pages there are some warnings about things in this world are not of God that we must be wise to, and another warnings about false teachers (we need this in the age of social media). And we will be reminding ourselves of our position as children of God, and that this comes first as our core and only identity.
