OIKOS

Series Overview

Oikos is what Jesus is calling his family (our family) to become; on a primal level we were made to be in this type of community and deep down we long for it and even miss it when we aren’t part of it.

An Oikos community like an ancient Mediterranean family, A large extended kinship group who live, support, work and grow together and we need it, that’s the only word for it.

Oikos represented the beating heart of where the Gospel spread. This series is about committing to do life together, rethinking and reimagining what this could look like for us here in River, setting a culture which is counter cultural, and witnessing the difference it can make in not only our lives, and in the lives of those around us but also in our hearts and in our spirit.
